Test Results

Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details so that we can contact you regarding any urgent test results.

Please leave 2-3 days after having blood / urine /microbiology test performed before ringing reception about the results. Receptionists often give normal results over the phone. If there are any abnormalities it is advisable to speak with one of the GP`s or Practice Nurses instead.

X-ray and Ultrasound results usually take about two weeks to arrive at the surgery so please keep this in mind and leave a reasonable interval before calling or making an appointment with your doctor.

Phone calls regarding such enquiries should be made after 11am Monday-Friday.

Sometimes we may not be able to give you your results over the telephone.  If the result is complicated or the Doctor wishes to see you about the results we will offer you an appointment.  We will only give the results to the person who has had the test.
